Pembrokeshire is one of Wales’ most beautiful destinations and one of our favourite places to road trip in the UK! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Home to a stunning national park and beautiful rugged coastlines, Pembrokeshire in Wales is perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors! 🌊🦭🥾 ✈️ The closest international airports to Pembrokeshire are Cardiff and Bristol. London Heathrow is located roughly 4 hours from the start of this road trip. 📆 You could do this Wales road trip in a few days! Here are the details! 👇🏼 📍Stop 1: Church Door Cove 🌊 There are 140 steps to get down to this awesome rock formation, a bit of a slog down, but well worth it! 📍Stop 2: Skrinkle Haven Beach 🏖️ This is a gorgeous beach next to Church Door Cove, you can only access it during low tide though! 📍Stop 3: Green Bridge of Wales 🦭 A beautiful rock formation arch, look out for seals below! 📍Stop 4: Elegug Stacks 🪨 Another great spot for seals and in the spring there are epic sea bird colonies! 📍Stop 5: St Govan’s Chapel 💒 Steeped in legend, this 5th century chapel is nestled in the side of the cliff! You can go down and explore the chapel. 📍Stop 6: Bosherston Lily Ponds 🪷 A beautiful walk through the Lily Ponds and also to Broad Haven South Beach! Peak season is June. 📍Stop 7: Carew Castle 🏰 Over 900 years old, this castle overlooks a beautiful inlet! 📍Stop 8: Marloes Sands Beach 🌊 A gorgeous beach on the coast. You can access the beach, but be sure to check tide times. It’s roughly a 15 minute walk to the beach from the car park. 📍Stop 9: Skomer Island 🐧 A great spot to see puffins in the UK during mid June - mid July! You will need to pre-book!
